Great product! Light serum, doesn't leave a sticky feeling, absorbs quickly. I recommend it even for sensitive skin because it doesn't irritate the skin and can be used 2-3 times a week.
Perfect serum
A few months ago I discovered that I react to ginseng in skincare, but before I discovered the problem, I had irritated my already sensitive skin quite a bit. So I had to change my skincare as a whole, not product by product, and so I can't say for sure that this serum does everything I attribute to it. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that 1. it really does, 2. that it does it thanks to the combination with other products. The initial condition of my skin before starting to use this product: combination/oily, sensitive, dehydrated, enlarged pores, and I believe that the redness of my skin is due not only to its sensitivity, but also to mild rosacea. All of these problems are positively affected by a skincare consisting of Isntree products, including this serum with retinol (and ceramides and peptides, etc.). My first experience with retinoids was an eye serum from Beauty of joseon (which I don't want and can't rate because I react badly to ginseng in cosmetics). This is the first retinol serum I've ever used. I'm almost 40 and I didn't take good care of my skin when I was younger (lack of information at the time), so I have a lot of wrinkles around my eyes - maybe it's getting a little better, but it's too early to judge the effectiveness in this regard. The serum doesn't irritate me at all (I just feel a little dry, which is resolved by using a thick cream after applying the serum and this feeling disappears immediately). I think it solves all other problems. The manufacturer recommends using it once every 3-4 days, which I think is fine - however, I'm a beginner with retinol and I can probably get used to using it more often.
This is not my first retinol serum, so I have something to compare. The consistency is basically appropriate, typical for such a serum, but I didn't like the color - it had a strange yellow tint, maybe it had expired. I noticed the effect of retinol that the skin becomes smoother, wrinkles are reduced and pores are tightened. However, I don't like the bottle of this serum, as it is very difficult to pick up the product with the pipette. In general, it is preferable to buy retinol serums in bottles with pumps or in cream tubes, as retinol in pipette bottles can spoil very quickly and therefore needs to be used up faster. Compared to other retinol serums, I cannot praise this serum or repurchase it - it is an average product for me.
I like this serum. It's lightweight, doesn't break me out (so far) and doesn't irritate my skin (dry and sensitive). I introduced it progressively in my routine (use it 1x/week the 1st week, 2x/week the second week, and 3x times/week onwards). I'm on my second bottle right now, and it seems this product has helped reduce my hyperpigmentation scars.
